American Mah Jongg Lessons

In this six-week session, you will learn the basics of how to play American Mah Jongg,  a complex rummy-like game involving skill, strategy, and luck. It’s played in groups of three or four players who use 152 tiles while competing to create a hand that matches any one of several patterns on a card published annually by the National Mah Jongg League.
 
Items needed after the second lesson include a weekly game purse with $4 (coins) and the 2025 Mah Jongg playing card which you will purchase from the National Mah Jongg League ($15).  
 
All the specifics will be explained at the first lesson, so nothing is required at the start of this six-week session.  Please contact Pat Doorley for more information.
