About the Job
We have an incredible new Center that is designed to be the heart of healthy aging in Charlottesville and a modern, vibrant community hub. The organization is in growth mode, expanding hours and programs to meet the needs of a growing population. Reporting to and working closely with the Membership Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our Welcome Desk functions smoothly and provides extraordinary customer service while supporting The Center’s broad fundraising activities. This includes overseeing crucial administrative processes, using your expertise to train staff and volunteers, conducting research, and helping with fundraising events.

About the Ideal Candidate
You are an energetic, motived team player who excels at customer service and thrives in a fast-paced environment that requires both individual and collaborative effort. You are extremely dependable and you have a positive attitude toward seniors, a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent computer and communication skills, and experience processing financial transactions. You are patient, empathetic and happy to share your skills by training volunteers to support The Center and its work.
Salary Range and Benefits
This position is part time at approximately 20 hours per week (afternoon and evening hours) with a benefits package that includes a matching 403(b) plan, vacation, sick leave, and national holidays.
