Controller - Full time
We are searching for a Controller who will oversee the financial operations of The Center. Responsible for all aspects of the accounting operation including general ledger reconciliations, cash management and payroll. Involved in monitoring The Center’s financial status and reporting on same to the Finance and Operations Director, the Executive Director, other staff and the Board of Directors. Develops and monitors budget and financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant statutes and regulations.
Required: Proficiency with MS Office software, QuickBooks, and database management. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business. Three years direct experience in accounting and financial management. Strong interpersonal relations, team, and organization skills. Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. Highly self-motivated. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Positive attitude towards seniors. Ability to supervise. Occasionally works evening and weekend hours.
