About the Job                                                                                               

We have an incredible new Center that is designed to be the heart of healthy aging in Charlottesville and a modern, vibrant community hub. The organization is in growth mode, expanding hours and programs to meet the needs of a growing population, so effective marketing is key to advancing our mission and fulfilling our potential as a community resource. Reporting to and working closely with the Marketing & Communications Director, you will play a critical role in managing The Center’s digital presence while supporting broad marketing activities across all channels. This includes overseeing crucial administrative processes; using your expertise to support philanthropy, membership, and program staff; and staying abreast of marketing trends.

About the Ideal Candidate                                                                               

You are supremely organized, multi-talented, and energized by the challenge of opening minds to the power of healthy aging. You are a whiz with Adobe Creative Suite and proficient in MS Office, think metrics and analytics are fascinating, have a keen eye for good design, and revel in creating social media posts that grab attention (in a good way). You write well and concisely, believe in the Oxford comma, and have experience across all areas of marketing. You possess common sense, good judgment, and a sense of humor; you are dedicated to excellent customer service; and you thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires both individual and collaborative effort.

Salary Range & Benefits                                                                                   

This position is full time at 40 hours per week, with a benefits package that includes health and dental coverage, a matching 403(b) plan, vacation, sick leave, and national holidays. Salary is commensurate with experience.
