Can I rent the facility for a public event?
No, rentals are for private celebration ONLY. Charging a fee for entry or alcohol will terminate the rental contract immediately.
Do you supply tables and chairs?
The Center does have tables and chairs for use at no extra charge, and we are happy to set these up prior to the event.
What am I responsible for as a renter?
The renter is responsible for removing all decorations, taking all trash to the dumpster, and cleaning up all spills. Additionally, all renters must provide a certificate of insurance naming The Center as an additional insured.
What about serving alcohol?
The renter must provide an ABC banquet liquor license if alcohol is served.
Can I use the kitchen?
Kitchen access is permitted only if the event has engaged a licensed caterer.
How far in advance should I reserve space?
Most large events must be scheduled 30 days or more in advance.
What else should I know?
All events must end by 11:00 PM unless special arrangements have been made with the Program Director. A security guard will be provided for any evening events that include alcohol and for other events as deemed necessary.
