Drawing Portraits with Desmond

October 16-November 20, Wednesdays, 2:00-4:00 pm
This 6-week series will give the beginner, intermediate, and advanced artist the ability to draw from careful observation portraits and understand qualities of various mediums. With help from instructor Desmond Cormier, create portraits of people and animals. The class will work with different mediums to gain understanding of their unique characteristics. Prime Members Free, Standard Members $65. Open to Members Only. See Materials Required List below.
Required Materials List:
Drawing paper (newsprint and 60lb paper size is up to student),
various pencils hb, 2b, 4b, 6b,
vine charcoal,
compressed charcoal,
kneaded eraser,
pencil sharpener,
conte crayon,
drawing pens.
Pastels,
watercolors,
colored pencils,
any other medium participant would like to purchase.

Cancellation Policy: If you find that you cannot attend a class after registering, please let us know by emailing programs@thecentercville.org or contacting the Welcome Desk. Due to the need to purchase supplies in advance, cancellations with fewer than 7 days' notice will incur the materials fee. No-show Fee: Prime members will incur a $30 no-show fee for any uncancelled registrations in addition to the class’s materials fee.
