Spring is fast approaching, and that means many, many species of birds will be passing through Central Virginia.  We will also welcome our spring/summer birds as they take up residence here to mate, nest, and raise their young.  Come learn more from Scott Karr about some of these incredible migrating birds and hear about how you can help our resident feathered-friends during their nesting season.  Free and open to the community.

Thursday, April 18, 10:00 – 11:00 AM

Scott Karr from Wild Birds Unlimited returns to discuss ways to enjoy both our own spring/summer birds during their nesting season as well as those birds just visiting.  Learn more about some of the birds that pass through the area on their migratory journeys, including what you can do to attract and support the hummingbirds that will soon be in the neighborhood.  Free and open to the community.
