Intermediate Watercolor Painting (2025)

February 11-March 4, 1:30-4:00, Tuesdays

This class with Joanne Coleman will focus on composition, perspective, lights and darks, negative and positive space plus how to lead your views eye to an interesting part of your painting. Create a still life or an abstract with demonstrations available and individual assistance. Materials required list below. Prime Members Free, Standard Members $65.

Materials Required:

Watercolor paint -prefer Winsor-Newton Cotman or similar

Watercolor paper 140-pound Cold Press in block or sheets

Board to tape paper onto

Artist tape

Watercolor brushes of your choice

Pencil of your choice

Eraser of your choice

Palette to place paint

Paper towels

Plastic wrap

Small amount of kosher salt

Sea sponge size small

Micron black pen

Masking Fluid

Cut up old credit card to make textures
