Drawing with Colored Pencils

Tuesdays January 14-February 4, 10:00 am-12:00 pm (4-week Series)
This class with Desmond Cormier will begin with “drawing what you see” and understanding the foundations of drawing. The medium of colored pencils will be introduced and students will pick the subject they prefer and produce finished drawings using colored pencils. This 4-week series will give the beginner, intermediate, and advanced artist the ability to draw from careful observation and understand qualities of colored pencil. Required Materials are:
pencils,
erasers,
pencil sharpener,
Bristol board paper,
a set of colored pencils - 24 minimum in set (more is better)

Cancellation Policy: If you find that you cannot attend a class after registering, please let us know by emailing programs@thecentercville.org or contacting the Welcome Desk. Due to the need to purchase supplies in advance, cancellations with fewer than 7 days' notice will incur the materials fee. No-show Fee: Prime members will incur a $30 no-show fee for any uncancelled registrations in addition to the class’s materials fee.
