Since journalist Dan Buettner first described “The Blue Zones” (areas of the world in which people seem to enjoy longer lifespans and healthspans), many of us have become interested in how to adopt Blue Zone habits into our lifestyles. This class, taught by Merope Pavlides, will focus on the cuisines of these regions, examining traditional diets and recipes. Video instruction will be used and tasting samples will be provided. Material fee is $30 due to the instructor at the start of the first class.
