August 8-September 12, 9:00 am-12:00 pm, Thursdays (6-Weeks)

Come and learn how to paint animals using the medium of your choice, oil, acrylic, watercolor, or pastels with instructor Katie Hutter. The animal’s basic anatomy, expressions, proportions, and textures will be explored. The students will learn how to capture the essence of the animal, and express what they see, using their medium, values, colors, light, and shadow, along with painting them in an expressive setting. $20 Material Fee due to Instructor at the start of class, additional materials required will be painting materials of the medium of students’ choice: watercolor, oil, acrylics, or pastels are welcomed. The student needs to have at least a basic understanding of the use of their preferred materials. Prime Members Free, Standard Members $65, Guests $80.

Due to the need to purchase supplies in advance, cancellations with fewer than 7 days' notice will incur the materials fee. No-show Fee: Prime members will incur a $30 no-show fee for any uncancelled registrations in addition to the class’s materials fee.
