Do you miss being a part of Drama Club? Do you love performing onstage? Are you looking for a fun way to push your comfort zone? Sign up for Second Act: In Performance. We are looking for actors for a production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream to be performed at The Center this June. This classic love story combines humor, heart, and hijinks. Don’t let the high-falutin Shakespearean language scare you either; this show will be accessible to all. All levels of experience from newcomers to seasoned thespians are welcome and encouraged to sign up. Memorizing lines is NOT required to participate.

Performance Dates:

  • Wednesday, June 5, 2:30–4:30 pm
  • Tuesday, June 11, 5:30–7:30 pm

Instructor Bio:
In addition to being the Philanthropy Manager at The Center, Anna Grey Hogan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University. She was the Drama Director at the Blue Ridge School and has volunteered in many roles with local theaters.
