Join us for another exploration of the diverse exhibits at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. The timing of this trip coincides with a special exhibition: Samurai Armor. Through a dazzling array of more than 130 objects spanning almost 9 centuries, you’ll see the high level of design and craft of helmets, swords, and 20 complete sets of armor. These objects reveal the culture, lifestyle and artistic legacy associated with the Samurai Warrior in Japanese society. Also, you can explore the other diverse collections as well. The trip includes a docent tour. Lunch: On Your Own.
