Will be separated into 3 different topics (1 topic per four weeks)
If you know someone, teach someone or care for a person with autism, and you want to learn the causes, preventative measures, characteristics, sensitivities and solutions to behaviors and find their best educational and work environments then join this informational class taught by Daria M. Brezinski, PhD who has been working with children and adults with autism for decades.
Instructor Qualifications: As a professor, professional mentor, coach, advocate for multi-age and diverse Special Needs Youths, Daria's aspiration is to channel her competence and educational training into Counseling/Teaching Youths who struggle Academically, Intellectually, Developmentally and Emotionally. Having achieved mastery over her autistic social and neuro-atypical obstacles, her expertise lies in improving the quality of the day-to-day lives of individuals who struggle with these deficits in their home, job or classroom. Now that she is a senior, Daria wants to teach as many people as possible what she has learned over the years.
