If you have always wanted to play bridge but don't know how, or you have some bridge playing experience but need a refresher in the basics, then these are the classes for you! All classes are available al a carte and are taught by experienced player and teacher Ken Marino. Free to members; guest fee $20 per lesson. Please register in advance below. SPACE IS LIMITED! Friday, October 23, 1:00 – 3:00 PM – Lesson Two
Lesson Two of the series consists of a rigorous presentation of the opening bid without a 5-card suit, along with the responses and opener re-bids, further exploration of the “Point Count” theory, and “Declarer Play” - both planning the play and strategies for winning additional tricks.
Friday, November 20, 1:00-3:00 PM – Lesson Three
Lesson three introduces the concept of “Bidding Conventions” with first-level explanations and examples of several current and commonly used conventions. Play of the hand topic will include opening leads against suit and no-trump contracts.Open to all.
