Wondering how you might be able to best prepare for your partner's passing--or help your partner plan for yours? Maybe your partner has already passed, and you're not sure where to go, or next steps to take. This presentation will focus on some of the things you can do to prepare in advance and some steps you can take once your partner has passed including:
•    Planning for the emotional impact and effects of grief
•    Creating a record in advance of all assets and who to contact for settlement
•    Identifying resource persons in advance 

Kirsten Ashbaugh, CFP® is a financial advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. She works with individuals, couples, and families of all ages to optimize and plan for their ideal financial outcomes to live the lives most meaningful to them. Coming from a career in intelligence and national security, she carefully considers what information is most critical to the decision-making process and effective ways to convey that information to her clients. She is particularly interested in how our emotions and behaviors affect how we view our finances and ways to harness those behaviors towards achieving our financial goals.
