Spotlight Study - Still Life

Come and learn how to set up a beautiful still life inspired by the lighting masters of the 20th century. In this class we will do some color studies and a final painting based on our favorite study. Oil paints preferred, but all mediums welcome. Advanced beginner and up. We will be doing few sketches in thinned oil paint so students should bring an 11 x 14” canvas
pad, and two canvas or primed panels, oil paint, brushes, gamsol, paper towels, painting
medium such as liquin impasto, linseed oil, or painting gel).
Colors to have: titanium White, Lemon Yellow, permanent red rose, French Ultramarine,
Cerulean Blue, Viridian or pthalo green, Dioxazine purple, Ivory Black, Raw Sienna and yellow
