Two part series meets May 5 and May 12 from 1:30-4:30 pm.
Come and learn the true nature of clouds and atmospheric effects and paint them with confidence. In this class you will learn to understand the types of clouds, the nuances of shading, coloring, and painting them for effect, and how to avoid painting the dreaded “cotton balls.”
This class is open to all mediums. Students will be required to provide their own materials for this program. You will need a substrate to paint on (watercolor paper or canvas), paints in a variety of colors (primaries, white, black, and browns), brushes including rounds and filberts, water, and mister for watercolor and acrylic, for oil they will need Gamsol, and linseed oil or liquin impasto.
