Equip yourselves to discount the hype, both positive and negative, about generative artificial intelligence: "AI". This 2-hour program by law professor, law dean and MIT engineer Henry Perritt, will follow in his previous discussions on the history of technology. It will explore the scientific and engineering antecedents of AI, review past enthusiasms about earlier forms of AI, explain how the new systems work and stimulate discussion on the capabilities and limitations of AI in writing, image creation, music composition and creativity.
