Painting Snowscapes

Details:
Learn the nuances of painting the many shades of white in a beautiful winter wonderland. Use your own reference photo or borrow one from instructor Katie Hutter. This class is for advanced beginnners and up.
Materials fee is $15, due to instructor at first class.

Required Materials:
- Paint of your choice (acrylic, oil, pastel, gouache, watercolor) in the following recommended colors:
- lemon yellow
- cad yellow
- quinacridone red/permanent red rose
- cad red
- cerulean blue
- ultramarine blue
- black
- white
- yellow ochre
- burnt sienna
- burnt umber
- Canvases or 140 lb paper
- Palette paper
- Brushes
- Palette knife for mixing paints
- Gamsol odorless thinner (IF using oil)
- "Stays wet palette" and Micro mister (IF using water based paints)
