Join us as we travel to Delaware and Pennslyvania to visit Brandywine Valley and Longwood Gardens, to experience world class gardens and museums. In addition we will enjoy a performance of the Wizard of Oz at Toby's Dinner theatre. We will spend 2 nights in the historic Mendenhall Inn and visit Nemours Estate, a 77-room Mansion, a Chauffeur's Garage with vintage automobiles, and 200-acres of French-inspired formal gardens, grounds, and woodlands. and Longwood Gardens one of tthe word's premier horticultral showcases with over 1000, acres of both indoor and outdoor gardens. Both estates originated from the Du Pont family and their horticultural and philanthroic commitments. Our trip concludes with a visit to Winterthur Museum Gardens and Library, another Du Pont family property. We enjoy a 30-minute Garden Tram tour showcasing the highlights and history. Trip includes: Roundtrip transporation, two nights hotel, two breakfasts, two dinners and admission to the estates and gardens. Acitivity Level - Active. Open to all.
