If you are looking for a fun, easy and creative outlet to help you relax, spark your imagination and express your thoughts and ideas with more clarity, this 2-day workshop is for you. Visual thinking skills help with relaxation, mindfulness and processing and understanding information more clearly. This program will teach basic drawing skills and how to think and communicate using simple pictures and words. Drawing skills not required and all experience levels are welcome.
Day 1:
- Drawing fundamentals
- Lines with meaning
- Expressive lettering
- Icon development
Day 2:
- Colors and what they represent
- Emotional and facial expressions
- Visual metaphors
Required materials:
- sketchpad
- pencils
- erasers
- black pen for drawing/outlining
- colored pencils
- crayons
- fine colored markers
