Part 2 of Geometric Drawing. Continue to expand your knowledge and skills working with a compass and ruler, constructing triangles, squares, rectangles and circles. Vivian will keep the learning going as you continue what you have learned in Part 1 of her Geometric Drawing series. In this series, we hope to have time to learn how to construct Platonic Solids!

Required Materials:

  • Geometric compass (an inexpensive one will work fine)
  • Cork-backed 15" metal ruler
  • 9" x 12" drawing paper, 98 lb weight (this weight is best when using the sharp point of a compass)
  • A sheet of cardboard or foam board, 11" x 15", for backing
  • Colored pencils
  • Graphite drawing pencils (#HB)
  • Erasers (kneaded and "Pink Pearl")
  • 4 oz. Elmers liquid glue
  • 1 pair of sharp scissors
