Food As Art

Next session: Tuesday, July 15, 2025 | 9:30am-11:30am
Details:
Tuesday, July 15 & Thursday, August 7, 9:30-11:30 am
Food as a subject for artists goes back centuries. There is a painting on the wall in Pompei (79AD) that represents a table laden with food. One of which looks very much like pizza! So why not paint a hotdog? The king of every summer barbecue, Fourth of July and sporting event. The instructor, Cindy Vito will guide you every step of the way. No drawing or painting experience required. The only question will be...mustard or ketchup? There is a $20 materials fee due to the instructor at the beginning of class.
