Next session: Friday, March 7, 2025 | 1:00pm-3:00pm
Details:
March 7-April 4, 1:00-3:00 pm
Join Mary Sherrill (RN, BSN), a certified Food for Life Instructor, for a 5 week series, to explore the science behind whole-food, plant-based nutrition. Learn how partnering with your medical team and making informed food choices can help reverse diabetes, boost brain health, and lower the risk of Alzheimer’s and dementia. Decades of research show that what we eat can protect memory and keep us sharp as we age.
With 41 years of nursing experience, Mary is certified by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and T. Colin Campbell's Center for Nutritional Studies. Together with her husband Clint, she is passionate about improving health, caring for the planet, and promoting compassion for animals. You will have the opportunity to apply what you learned through this series and test your skills as you are invited to make a plant-based dish to share with the group over a pot-luck lunch! Don't miss this opportunity to take charge of your well-being!
Material Fee is $20 due to the instructor at the first session (March 7), which covers all ingredients, as well as the materials for all four classes. Please call the instructor, Mary Sherrill, after registering 434.953.9999 Thank you.
