Intermediate Watercolor with Pen & Ink- May 2025

Join Joanne to explore and learn to use various brushes and optional pen and ink to achieve desired composition, value, color, perspective and texture.  In addition, you will learn how to paint landscapes, still life and animals. 

Cancelation Policy: Please notify us at least 5 business days in advance of the program’s start date. Cancellations made less than 5 days in advance will not be eligible for a refund or credit.
Note: Many art, music, and language programs are structured as a series, with a specific number of sessions scheduled over a defined period of time. Missed sessions within a series are not eligible for refunds.

Required Materials:

1. Watercolor paint -prefer Winsor-Newton Cotman or similar
2. Watercolor paper 140-pound Cold Press or Rough, in block or sheets or
3. Board to tape paper onto
4. Artist tape
5. Watercolor brushes of your choice
6. Pencil of your choice
7. Eraser of your choice
8. Palette to place paint
9. Paper towels
10. Plastic wrap
11. Small amount of kosher salt
12. Sea sponge size small
13. Micron black pen or quill pen with black ink.
14. Suggest a small set of colored inks-water based or acrylic with quill pen.
15. Masking Fluid
16. Cut up old credit card to make textures
