Modern Masters- Landscape Oils (April 2025)

In this 8 week series we will explore and learn from four great modern masters- Stefan Baumann, Scott Schristenson, Kathleen Dunphry and Matt Smith.  Learn the poetry and music of their paintings and how to recreate your own version of these beautiful masterpieces!  Two weeks will be spent of each Modern Master.

Focused skills:  brushtrokes, edges, lighting effects, building layers.

Materials needed:  warm and cool primaries, earth tones and white; #4, 8, 12 flat; #4, 8 filbert, fan brush, palette knife, canvas or panel, Gamsol in a lidded jar, linseed oil and paper towels.

Cancelation Policy:  Please notify us at least 5 business days in advance of the program’s start date. Cancellations made less than 5 days in advance will not be eligible for a refund or credit.  Note: Many art, music, and language programs are structured as a series, with a specific number of sessions scheduled over a defined period of time. Missed sessions within a series are not eligible for refunds.
