Intermediate Acrylic Painting

September 4-25, Wednesdays, 2:00-4:30 pm (4-week series)
Learn the joy of painting with acrylics on canvas with instructor Joanne Coleman. Create either an impressionist style or a calm, soft abstract. The process is intended to bring joy and a sense of calm while you tap into your inner self to produce a pleasing work of art. See required materials list below. For Center Members only. Prime Members Free, Standard Members $45.
Required Materials:
- Stretched canvas or canvas board- your choice of sizes. Total number of at least 4 canvases.
- Acrylic paint-Do not get a cheap paint. Use either Basics or Golden. Must have at least the primary colors including titanium white and black.
- Your choice of brushes that are not soft and not used for watercolor.
- Palette knives, your choice of sizes. Not plastic.
- Golden soft gel medium and golden liquid acrylic gel medium.
- Paper towels
- Saran wrap
- Plastic or Styrofoam plates for use a palette

Cancellation Policy: If you find that you cannot attend a class after registering, please let us know by emailing programs@thecentercville.org or contacting the Welcome Desk. Due to the need to purchase supplies in advance, cancellations with fewer than 7 days' notice will incur the materials fee. No-show Fee: Prime members will incur a $30 no-show fee for any uncancelled registrations in addition to the class’s materials fee.
