Wendy Tacket, Ph D of the ACNSDAR Chapter will be sharing the process for researching and understanding the circumstances around the British attempted capture of Governor Thomas Jefferson and his escape from Monticello to Poplar Forest. We will also read a dramatic retelling of the British invasion and escape to set the landscape for the Center Travel trip along the escape route for our trip schedule for October 11th.
