Army Veteran and Veterans Service Representative, Rene Sanchez, plans to Educate veterans about the benefits available to them, their spouses, and dependents. He will explain benefit offerings, the PACT Act for Vietnam and Gulf War Veterans, and burial benefits; military protocol, coordination with funeral provider of their choice, and burial options. Free and Open to all.
Brief bio of Instructor's qualifications: Army veteran, former owner and 30 year funeral licensed professional, licensed life and health agent to offer Advance planning for funeral services, former Administrative Supervisor at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia and current Veterans Service Representative in Charlottesville.
