ReConnect Support Group II
Next session: Thursday, October 3, 2024 | 2:30pm-4:00pm
Details:
Thursdays, 2:30-4:00 pm
We now live in a difficult world full of change and loss, much of which we can't control, which can often make us feel down, discouraged, and disconnected. However, even if we can't change the world, we CAN change ourselves – how we think, what we do – in order to cope more successfully with the challenges we face.
In this member-led group, participants will practice the skill of thinking positively which they learned from past ReConnect discussions, and discuss ways in which we can find worth, meaning, and connection in our lives.
Each week, during the 90-minute group meeting (as well as daily at home to get the most benefit) we will:
1) think positive thoughts, and acknowledge specific things we are grateful for
2) work on changing ourselves:
--- determine one achievable thing that we want to be different about our lives
--- define specific steps we can take toward achieving that change in ourselves
--- share our progress down the “reconnect” path with the group and support each other in our journeys toward more meaning and connection in our lives
Join other participants from past ReConnect groups for this support group.
Open to all.
