Tuesdays, July 9-August 27 (8-week series) 1:00-4:00 pm

In this 8 week series for intermediate and advanced students, Katie Hutter will have students explore and learn from the great modern masters like Josh Clare, Mitchell Albala, Isaac Afremov, Daniel Bailey, CJ Cunningham and more. Learn the poetry and music of their paintings and how to recreate your own version of these beautiful masterpieces! Materials Required List is below. Materials Fee is $15 due to the instructor at the start of class for handouts and additional supplies. Prime Members Free, Standard Members $100, Guests $120.

Required Material List:

Warm and cool primaries (Cad Red and magenta, Lemon and Cad Yellow, Cerulean/Cobalt & Ultramarine Blue), white, black and a brown (burnt umber/burnt sienna)

Assortment of brushes, especially flats, and a couple of filberts, a liner, a fan brush, and a wash brush (1-2")

An odorless paint thinner, (we've been switching to a citrus based non toxic thinner for everyone's benefit) & a lidded jar Citrus Based Paint Thinner

Linseed oil in an eye dropper

Canvases - 11x14" or larger (at least one per class)

Paper towels

Paint Clothes

Due to the need to purchase supplies in advance, cancellations with fewer than 7 days' notice will incur the materials fee. No-show Fee: Prime members will incur a $30 no-show fee for any uncancelled registrations in addition to the class’s materials fee.
