Listening actively is an enriching skill that can bring greater meaning to life by improving relationships, building empathy, and promoting mindfulness and more happiness. Join Carolyn Merrick, D.Min., for a fun, interactive session of learning and practicing listening skills. There will be ample time to share insights and observations. Everyone welcome.

About the facilitator: Carolyn Merrick, M.A., D.Min., a former Program Coordinator at The Center, has employed her talents over the years in a variety of facilitator roles - school teacher, regional trainer for a Fortune 100 Company, substance abuse counselor, and training specialist at the University of Virginia. She studied listening techniques in graduate school and trained groups using the techniques that will be shared in this class.
