‘Tis the Season for Holiday Giving

‘Tis the Season for Holiday Giving
Monday, December 2, 2019 - Friday, December 20, 2019

Holidays are often the most difficult times for those homeless in our community.  This year, you'll have two different kinds of opportunities to help those in need during this holiday season. If you'd like to shop for a particular individual, The Center is working with the Piedmont Housing Alliance on their Senior Angels program.  Senior residents at PHA communities were given the opportunity to sign up to receive gifts from their wish list.  If you would like to help a local senior, please retrieve one of the envelopes off the tree in The Center lobby, shop, then bring your wrapped items back to The Center no later than Tuesday, December 10.

Or, if you'd rather provide needed items for a number of folks, please consider donating any of the items listed below, suggested by our friends at PACEM.  These gifts will help those in need find physical and mental comfort during the holiday season.  To help in this manner, it's easy: just fill a gallon-size plastic bag (available in the lobby at The Center) with your donations and return it to The Center by Friday, December 20.
