Organized in 1994, this is one of only four Virginia-based New Horizons Music Groups - a project that promotes lifelong learning through senior citizen bands. Our director, Bob Dunnenberger, directs a group of more experienced musicians with a repertoire that includes classical, show tunes, patriotic, and holiday music. Along with community performances, the band’s schedule includes two annual concerts at The Center. The band meets for rehearsal from 10:30 am-12:30 pm each Tuesday. For Center Members only:
Spring 2025 Session $40 (January-April)
Summer 2025 Session $45 (May-July)
Fall 2025 Session $45 (September-December)
