Beginning Tuesday, February 4, AARP Foundation will be providing in-person tax assistance and preparation through its Tax-Aide program — and it’s completely free. AARP will be onsite at The Center Tuesdays and Fridays, February 4-April 11.  Advance appointments are required. Please call The Center's Welcome Desk (434) 974-7756 to schedule your time slot. PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 15 MINUTES EARLY TO FILL OUT THE NECESSARY PAPERWORK.

When you arrive for your appointment, you must have the following items:

• Picture ID
• 2024 Tax Returns
• Social Security documents for all parties on the return
• All pertinent tax information/forms (including form 1095A for Affordable Care Act)
• Bank Account information (canceled check is best)
