RESCHEDULED dates:  March 10 & 17, 2-4 pm Two session

Join FAA Remote Pilot, Carlton Carroll, for a 2-session class on basic description of requirements for drone operations and drone features and one day of hands-on flying. Gain knowledge of FAA drone operation regulations, a brief demo flight of Autel EVO 2 drone outdoors at The Center, and more. Open to all. Free to members. Guests $25.

1)  Knowledge of FAA drone operation regulations 

2)  Overview of drone hardware and capabilities  

3) Drone videos and photos capabilities

4) Drone demo with some hands-on flying.  Will include brief demo flight of Autel EVO 2 drone outdoors at The Center.

Brief bio of Instructor: BS in Aerospace Engineering and MS in Flight Sciences.  Private pilot license.  FAA Remote Pilot License (drone operation).  Has been flying overviews and surveys for several non-profit organizations in central Virginia.
