Go for Beginners introduces the ancient Chinese board game complementing Western chess. Perhaps the oldest board game in the world, Go can be learned in a few minutes, and is both fun and full of pattern-based stratagems. The moves are simple, and to play the game at all well requires hands on practice you will gain by playing in class. Member Jack Zammito will show you how the game is played with black and white “stones” that was part of training warriors in Japan, China, and Korea. Those who have played before and would like to join in are very welcome.
