Still Life as a Story

In this class students are encouraged to come up with a story, then arrange a still life that represents the story. They will need to think about this ahead of time so they can either set it up at home and photograph it or bring the items into class to set up the still life that tells a story and then work on painting it. Ideas: set up a story that shows baseball items for a grandson/daughter who plays baseball, a favorite toy set in a moment from childhood, a bird or butterfly sitting on a flower, some object or a set of objects that facilitated healing or a happy memory, or whatever sparks their imagination.

Bring your own supplies. A list will be communicated in advance.
