Called the “Jewell of the Blue Ridge Mountains,” scenic Smith Mountain Lake, with 500 Acres of shoreline in Bedford County, is a 40-mile-long man-made lake. You will board “The Virginia Dare,” a 19th century side-wheeler, for a two-hour charter. Some of the things you may see on your cruise: Smith Mountain Dam, 3 Island (Goat, Turtle & Bride), Antique Carousel, Osprey nests, the oldest Tobacco Barn in the area and many more sights. The cruise includes an all-you-can-eat, build-your own tacos with all the fixings, sweet iced tea and water. There is also a cash bar available for a refreshing margarita or ice-cold beer, sodas, water. Open to all. Activity Level - Moderate
