Professor Emeritus Herbert “Tico” Braun shares a lifetime of work to better understand the relationship between Latin America and the United States. Born and raised in Colombia, he has authored multiple books on history, culture, and personal family experiences, and taught Latin American history at UVA for more than 40 years.
