Get ready for an exciting day of strategy, camaraderie, and Mah Jongg fun while raising money to support activities at The Center at Belvedere focused on reframing aging.
All experienced players are welcome to participate. Check-in begins at 12:30 pm. The tournament will be conducted using Standard American Mah Jongg rules and the 2025 NMJL card. There will be 3 fifty-five-minute rounds of play with each round consisting of 4 games. Participants will rotate tables between rounds, and the tournament winners will be based on overall individual scores for all 3 rounds.
Monetary Prizes will be awarded for:
- Top three best overall scores for the tournament.
- Participants making the first Mah Jongg hand that includes “2025” in each round.
- Best overall score for each round.
Raffle items will also be available. Tickets can be purchased with cash or credit card -- $5/ticket or $10/3 tickets. Light refreshments will be provided. Scoring conventions and additional information will be shared with all registrants via email by April 10.
