Introduction to Oils 2

This series is for students who completed Katie's September Introduction to Oils class. This class will enable students to continue learning the next steps of painting with oils. In this class you will continue to learn about color mixing and elements of a landscape painting and bring home a simple landscape piece. This class will also teach you how to use other mediums with oil paint. There is a $15 material fee due to the instructor at the first class.

Required Materials:
- Oil paint in cadium yellow, lemon yellow, cadmium red, alizarin crimson, cerulean blue, ultramarine blue, black, white and burnt umber.
- Gamsol odorless mineral spirits in lidded jar
- Windsor Newton Liquin Imapasto
- Linseed oil
- Assortment of brushes
- Palette knife
- Palette
- Canvases (11"x14")
- Paper towels
- Painting clothes/apron (suggested)
