Enjoy an Artic adventure at ICE! featuring The Polar Express(tm) . Experience the classic holiday story in real life through larger-than-you-can-believe ice sculptures -some up to 20-feet tall, depicting 14 immersive scenes from the story. More than 40 world-renowned master artisans spend more than six weeks hand-carving approximately 6,000 blocks of ice to create this one-of-a-kind Christmas attraction! Artists use colorful ice, clear ice, and LED lights to create a vibrant exhibit. The attraction is kept at 9 degrees Fahrenheit by a state-of-the-art chilling system, and guests are provided a Gaylord National signature blue parka to keep warm. Afterwards enjoy wandering around National Harbors shops and wide selection of restaurants for lunch on your own.Activity level - Active. open to all
