The Garth Newel Piano Quartet is looking forward to returning to The Center at Belvedere. From the charming virtuosity of Beethoven’s early Op.16 piano quartet to the tragic catharsis of Brahms' last piano quartet, the Quartet will take listeners on a journey that spans a lifetime of emotions.
The Garth Newel Piano Quartet is known for their spirited and impassioned interpretations of both standard and new repertoire. As artists-in-residence at the Garth Newel Music Center in Hot Springs, VA, one of the premier and most active chamber music organizations in the United States, the four musicians also serve as co-artistic directors, and they program and perform over 50 concerts each year, engaging with audiences through conversational and interactive programs.
