Enjoy a winter walk up the Monticello Trail.
We'll meet in the large parking lot (678 Dairy Barn Road, Charlottesville ,22902) at 10:00 am and walk up the Saunders trail to the visitors center (water fountains and bathrooms) and then head back down. Expect about 2 -2.5 hours total time. If that sounds like too much, it's also possible to arrange a walk only up or down if you coordinate with a friend to leave your car at the desired endpoint.
The trail does allow dogs on leash.
Easy hike - gentle elevation never exceeding 5% incline, all trail either boardwalk or packed gravel. Rain Cancels.
