Meet at the public parking lot in front of the McIntire Rescue Squad, on McIntire Rd.
We will walk up the John Warner Parkway trail, north, which is paved, to the Piedmont Botanical Gardens, walk through the garden trails, cross the creek and continue walking back south through the new trail which eventually winds up at the Dogwood Vietnam Memorial. It will be a nice 3 mile loop, urban hike. Dogs may be on leash. Please wear good shoes, some of the new trail is not paved. Bring water to drink.
