This is an engaging program led by retired law professor and former law dean and MIT graduate, Henry H. Perritt, Jr.  Explore and discuss historically significant technologies that helped shape the modern world but are often overlooked today.  In this, the fifth session, we will focus on power: hand power, horsepower, waterpower, wind power, steam power and electrical power.  Innovations in generating and delivering power paved the way for the 20th century's advancements in product and labor markets and laid the groundwork for economic growth through the internet. Come join stimulating discussions that delve into the fascinating interplay of technology, history and progress.
