Michael Hawkins & The Brotherhood with Special Guest John D’earth

Exciting and charismatic bassist Michael Hawkins has toured and performed with some of the biggest names in music, including jazz legends Jimmy Heath, Eric Alexander, and Cyrus Chestnut. His group, The Brotherhood, features the top bebop jazz players in Virginia: pianist Weldon Hill, drummer Billy Williams, and saxophonist James “Saxsmo” Gates. Trumpeter John D’earth will join the band for this Charlottesville performance.

The Center Café will be open from 5:30–7:15 pm for beverage sales—beer, wine, and nonalcholic options available!
