Charlottesville Ballet's professional company of artists from across the U.S. and around the world will present excerpts from The Firebird, a classic Russian fairy tale set to the colorful score by Igor Stravinsky. Along with this sneak preview of their full-length production, learn about the Silver Swans program at The Center and participate in a Q&A with Charlottesville Ballet Director/Co-Founder Sara Clayborne and instructor Maria Chee.

Don't miss the company's public Charlottesville performances on March 22, when The Firebird will be paired with Act II of Swan Lake, bringing together a double feature of ballet classics in one concert.
Silver Swans is part of the Ballet’s CB Moves programming, which brings free community engagement programs to Central Virginia. Silver Swans classes meet weekly at The Center under the instruction of Maria Chee. Classes incorporate classical ballet principles and focus on flexibility, strength, and conditioning, but mostly on fun!
