As a volunteer with the American Red Cross, Albert Rees Jr. leads the Virginia Region’s International Humanitarian Law (IHL) programs to raise public awareness about IHL. Today armed conflicts are ongoing around the world. At times it may seem that there are no rules. Fortunately, there are rules in war, and they make a difference. Even War Has Rules is a dynamic discussion of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and how it governs armed conflict. Free and Open to All.

Albert Rees Jr. is an American Red Cross volunteer IHL instructor. Al served as U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate (military lawyer), retiring as a colonel. He has a law degree from Loyola University New Orleans, and a Master's of Law in international law from Georgetown University.
