It’s impossible to live life without regrets. However, dragging those regrets into each new day can ruin our sense of worth and damage our quality of life. With instructor, Dr. Dan Elash, learn how to put the past into perspective, how to forgive yourself for past regrets, and how to step away from old baggage. Free and open to Center members only.

Program Outline:

• Forgiving others

 

Dr. Dan is a clinical psychologist with an eclectic practice based in the greater Charlottesville area. Over the years he has been on staff at a number of hospitals and physical health care settings. He was a diplomat for the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists (now retired). He has been an adjunct instructor at the U.S. Naval War College and for the past 10 years he serves as the life strategies coach for Living Free Together, a military family support group serving central Virginia. A long-term professional interest of his has been in the treatment of stress, trauma, and catastrophic illness. He has treated PTSD in veterans and first responders.
